How the Portal HWID spoofer works

The card describes Portal as a private BIOS spoofer, which typically means it rewrites hardware identifiers at the firmware level rather than only in the Windows registry, so the change is not tied to a single play session and does not reset along with the system settings. It also ships a TPM bypass that removes the need to physically replace the TPM module, which matters most for Valorant, where a TPM check is a separate source of bans on top of the regular anti-cheat.

Launching it needs a USB flash drive — the loader typically boots from that stick rather than from inside an installed Windows, so the prep work starts before you are even in the OS. The disk must be GPT — moving off MBR means repartitioning the whole machine, not flipping a setting — and the BIOS has to run in UEFI mode, not Legacy, or the rest of the steps make no sense to run. The card says nothing about drives beyond the GPT requirement: a disk still on MBR is not a setting to flip inside the spoofer, it is a repartitioning job that has to happen before the procedure even starts.
