Instructions for Xernel on ABI

📥 Download & Installation (EN)

Step 1: Download the Launcher

  1. Go to: https://xernel.cc/launcher/download

  2. On the page, enter your license key in the corresponding field

  3. Wait for license processing

  4. Automatic download should start within a few seconds

  5. If download doesn't start automatically, click the "Manual Download" button

Step 2: Save the Launcher

  • Downloaded file is saved to the Downloads folder by default

  • It's recommended to move the launcher to a separate folder, e.g. C:\XERNEL\

  • If you want to hide product traces, move the launcher to a USB drive with RAID/FAT32 file system


⚙️ System Setup

Step 1: Disable Antivirus

Disabling Windows Defender

Option 1 (Simple):

  1. Open Windows Settings (Win + I)

  2. Go to Update & SecurityWindows Security

  3. Open Virus & threat protection

  4. Under Virus & threat protection settings, click Manage settings

  5. Turn off the Real-time protection toggle

Disabling Other Antivirus
  • Disable Kaspersky, Avast, AVG, Norton and other installed antivirus software

  • Make sure they are fully disabled, not just hidden in the system tray

⚠️ Important

Simply minimizing antivirus to the tray is not enough — it will continue blocking product drivers.

Step 2: Disable System Protections

  1. Press Win (opens "Start Menu")

  2. Type cmd and click Run as administrator

  3. Copy and paste the following command in full:

    reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity" /v Enabled /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f & reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Config" /v VulnerableDriverBlocklistEnable /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f & reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard" /v EnableVirtualizationBasedSecurity /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
  4. Press Enter and wait for the process to complete

Step 3: Enable Overlay

Make sure you have one of the game overlays installed:

For NVIDIA GPUs:
  • NVIDIA GeForce Experience must be installed

  • Open NVIDIA GeForce Experience

  • Check that Game Overlay is enabled in settings

For AMD GPUs:
  • AMD Radeon Software must be installed

  • Open AMD Radeon Settings

  • Make sure Overlay is enabled

For Intel GPUs or if using Discord:
  1. Open Discord

  2. Go to User SettingsActivity

  3. Find the Game Overlay section

  4. Enable the Enable in-game overlay toggle

  5. Make sure Enable legacy overlay is DISABLED

Step 4: Reboot System

After completing all steps, be sure to reboot:

  • Press Win + R, type shutdown /r /t 0 and press Enter

  • Or use the standard shutdown menu


🚀 Launching the Product

Step 1: Activate License in Launcher

  1. Run the downloaded launcher as Administrator

  2. In the License Activation window, enter your license key

  3. Click Activate and wait for processing

  4. After successful activation, you'll enter the Launcher Main Menu

Step 2: Select and Launch Game

  1. In the main menu, select PUBG

  2. Click the Launch button

  3. A window with launch logs will appear — this is normal

  4. Wait for the authorization message

Step 3: Load Driver

  1. After authorization, a window will appear asking: "Load driver?"

  2. First launch: click YES

  3. Subsequent launches (before reboot): click NO

  4. ⚠️ If you click YES every time — functionality issues will occur

  5. If you get error driver load failed -1 — refer to the PUBG Instructions (clickable)

Step 4: Finalization

  1. Wait for green logs to appear in the launcher

  2. When the launcher closes, launch PUBG and press the DELETE key

  3. The product is ready for use


❓ FAQ

Question: The launcher won't download, what do I do?

Answer

Check:

  • Internet connection is active

  • Your license key is valid

  • Try manual download

  • Use a different browser

  • Disable VPN

Question: I entered the wrong license key, how do I fix it?

Answer
  1. Restart the launcher

  2. On the next attempt, enter the correct key

  3. If the key is lost, contact support

Question: Do I need to disable Defender if I have another antivirus?

Answer

Yes, disable both. Windows Defender can conflict with the product even if another antivirus is installed.

Question: What if I don't see Overlay in the game?

Answer

Make sure:

  • Overlay is enabled in GPU settings

  • You're using Game Overlay, not the legacy version

  • You're using the correct overlay for your GPU

Question: How often should I click YES when loading the driver?

Answer
  • Only once after each system reboot

  • All other launches in the current session — select NO

Question: What if I accidentally clicked YES multiple times?

Answer

Simply reboot and repeat the process. After reboot, the situation will normalize.

Question: I closed the log window, what do I do?

Answer

Reboot and launch the launcher again. Re-launching will fix the issue.


🔧 Troubleshooting

Problem: Antivirus blocks the launcher

Solutions
  • Disable antivirus completely (not just protection mode)

  • Add launcher folder to exclusions

  • Reboot after disabling

  • If problem persists, use the dControl.exe option

Problem: "License key expired"

Solutions
  • Check expiration date in your account

  • If key is expired, purchase a new one

  • If you're sure the key is active, contact support

Problem: Driver won't load or gives an error

Solutions
  • Make sure all system protections are disabled

  • Run the launcher as Administrator

  • Verify you executed the protection disable command

  • Reboot and try again

  • Update your video driver (NVIDIA/AMD)

Problem: Game launches but launcher gives an error

Solutions
  • Click OK in the error window

  • Close the game and reboot

  • Make sure PUBG is installed via Steam

  • Check for free disk space

Problem: Black screen when launching game

Solutions
  • Check that Overlay is enabled

  • Update video driver

  • Disable screen recording programs (OBS, Bandicam)

  • Close all overlays except the required one (Discord, NVIDIA, etc.)

  • Make sure monitor is connected to GPU, not motherboard

Problem: Low FPS or frequent lag

Solutions
  • Close unnecessary programs

  • Check that no other heavy processes are running in Task Manager

  • Update video driver to latest version

  • Check component temperatures (possible overheating)

  • Make sure dedicated GPU is being used

Problem: Launcher window doesn't appear after launch

Solutions
  • Wait a few seconds (first launch may be slow)

  • Check Task Manager (launcher process should be active)

  • Reboot and try again

  • If problem persists, reinstall the launcher

Problem: "Unable to connect to servers"

Solutions
  • Check internet connection

  • Disable VPN

  • Make sure PUBG servers are available

  • Reboot

  • Check Windows Firewall (add launcher to exclusions)

Problem: Launcher requires re-activation after reboot

Solutions
  • This is normal, just enter the key again

  • Make sure you're entering the key correctly (no spaces)

  • If error repeats, contact support

Problem: PUBG not installed in Steam

Solutions
  • Install PUBG via Steam

  • Make sure the game is fully downloaded

  • Update the game to the latest version

  • Verify game file integrity (Right-click game → Properties → Local Files)
