🎮 AION 2 — Installation & Launch Guide (EN)

📥 Download Launcher

1. Open the download page

2. Insert your key and click Download Launcher

3. Save the .exe file in a separate folder, for example C:\XERNEL\

⚙️ System Setup

Disable Antivirus

1. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings

2. Disable Real-time protection

3. If another antivirus is installed, disable its protection in its settings. Closing the window or tray icon is not enough.

Disable System Protections (Mandatory)

1. Open Start, type cmd and select Run as administrator

2. Execute the commands:

   reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity" /v Enabled /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
   reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Config" /v VulnerableDriverBlocklistEnable /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
   reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard" /v EnableVirtualizationBasedSecurity /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

3. Restart your PC after configuration.

🖥️ Enable Overlay

Enable one of the supported overlays:

NVIDIA

1. Open NVIDIA App

2. In Settings, enable NVIDIA Overlay

3. Press Alt + Z and verify that the overlay opens

AMD

1. Open AMD Radeon Software

2. Open settings and enable In-game Overlay

🚀 Launch Program

1. Run the launcher as Administrator

2. If a region selection appears, choose a server and click CONTINUE. If a login window appears, enter your key and click INITIALIZE

3. Select AION 2

4. Click LAUNCH

🎮 Launch Game

1. After launching the program, start AION 2

2. Enter the game world and wait for it to load

3. Press Delete

🔧 Troubleshooting

❌ Game or program crashes

Repeat the entire launch sequence from the beginning. If the crash persists, send the exact error text or a recording to support and specify at which step the crash occurred.

❌ Launcher won't download

• Check browser downloads and click "Download again"

• Check your connection, disable VPN, and try a different browser

• If the download interrupts, check your antivirus logs and repeat the setup above

❌ Key not accepted during download or login

• Copy the key entirely, without spaces at the beginning or end

• Check the subscription期限 and key status in your dashboard

• If the key is still not accepted, send the key and error text to support

❌ Antivirus blocks or deletes the launcher

• Ensure protection is disabled in Windows Security and third-party antivirus

• Add the launcher folder to antivirus exclusions

• Re-download the launcher if the file was deleted

❌ Authorization hangs or [connect] FAILED appears

1. Check your internet connection and disable VPN

2. If a server selection appears, choose a different region. In the main window, open Settings → Change Server

3. If that doesn't help, try a different network, such as a mobile hotspot

4. Send the full error text to support

❌ [auth] FAILED after clicking "Launch"

Close and reopen the launcher, then retry launching once. If the error returns, send the full message and license key to support.

❌ Launcher closes by itself

During an update, the launcher may close and reopen. After "Successfully completed", it closes automatically. If it closes unexpectedly at another stage, contact support with your license key and the last step before closing. Attach a screenshot or recording if available.

❌ [launch] FAILED to spawn process

Check antivirus logs, restart your PC, and retry launching as administrator. If the error persists, send it to support.

❌ Launcher won't open

Check its process in Task Manager and antivirus logs. Restart your PC and run a fresh copy of the launcher as administrator.

❌ Driver won't load

Repeat the mandatory system protection disable steps, restart your PC, and try again. If an error window appears, find the code below:

❌ Clicked "YES" on driver load multiple times

Restart your PC. On the first prompt after reboot, click YES. After successful loading of this product's driver in this session, select NO.

❌ Game won't launch

Launch AION 2 via the game launcher. If the game doesn't open even without the program, update it and verify file integrity. Then restart your PC and repeat the launch according to the instructions.

❌ Menu doesn't appear

Ensure the supported overlay is enabled. Repeat the launch sequence: first enter the game world, then press Delete. If you changed the menu key, use the saved key. If there is a launch error, send its text to support.

❌ Black screen

• Ensure the correct overlay is enabled. Temporarily disable other overlays

• Close screen recording programs, including OBS and Bandicam

• Try borderless windowed mode

• If the problem persists, update your GPU drivers and retry launching

❌ Low FPS, lags, or performance drop

• Close unnecessary programs and screen recording

• In Task Manager, check CPU, GPU, and RAM usage

• Check temperatures. If your PC has multiple GPUs, check which one the game is using

• Lower graphics settings and update GPU drivers

• If FPS drops only with the program, specify your normal FPS and FPS with the program in your support ticket
