Errors and Troubleshooting

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

1. Launcher won't start (DLL errors)

If you see errors: "vcruntime140.dll is missing",

"msvcp140.dll is missing", "vcruntime140_1.dll is missing" —

your system is missing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.

Solution:

a) Download Visual C++ Redistributable 2015–2022 (x64):

https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

b) Run the installer and click "Install"

c) Wait for completion and restart your PC

d) Launch TitanX again

ℹ️ For 32-bit systems, also install:

https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe

❗ If the issue persists — contact support.

2. Network adapter disabled after spoofing

In rare cases, the adapter may not re-enable correctly

after MAC address spoofing.

Solution:

Option 1 — Device Manager:

a) Win+X → Device Manager

b) Network adapters → Right-click adapter → Enable

Option 2 — PowerShell (Admin):

a) Run PowerShell as Administrator

b) Execute command:

Enable-NetAdapter -Name "Ethernet" -Confirm:$false

(Replace "Ethernet" with your adapter name)

Option 3 — Full reset:

a) Device Manager → Right-click adapter → Uninstall device

b) Click "Scan for hardware changes" or reboot PC

ℹ️ This issue is rare, usually caused by software conflicts.

3. Launcher must be run as Administrator

TitanX requires Administrator privileges to function properly.

Solution:

a) Right-click spf.exe → Run as administrator

To make permanent:

a) Right-click spf.exe → Properties → Compatibility tab

b) Check "Run this program as an administrator"

c) Click "Apply" → "OK"

4. Driver failed to load (anti-cheat running)

Anti-cheat systems (EAC, BattlEye, Vanguard, FACEIT)

block kernel driver loading.

Solution:

Option A — Terminate processes:

a) Close all games completely

b) Check system tray for anti-cheat icons

c) Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) → End tasks:

• EasyAntiCheat / EasyAntiCheat_EOS

• BEService / BattlEye

• vgc / vgtray (Vanguard)

• FACEIT / faceitclient

d) Launch TitanX BEFORE launching any game

Option B — Remove anti-cheats:

a) Uninstall Vanguard and/or FACEIT from your system

b) Reboot PC

c) Launch TitanX before starting any game

⚠️ Riot Vanguard starts at boot.

To stop temporarily: system tray → Right-click Vanguard icon → Exit.

Reboot required to play Valorant later.

5. Vulnerable Driver Blocklist

Windows blocks known vulnerable drivers from loading.

TitanX automatically disables this protection.

What happens:

Launcher writes registry keys:

• CI\Config\VulnerableDriverBlocklistEnable → 0

• CI\Protected\VerifiedAndReputableBlockEnabled → 0 (Win11 24H2+)

Solution:

a) Reboot PC when launcher prompts you

b) Launch TitanX again — fix is applied automatically

ℹ️ If auto-fix fails, run manually (CMD Admin):

reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Config" /v VulnerableDriverBlocklistEnable /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Protected" /v VerifiedAndReputableBlockEnabled /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

6. Memory Integrity (HVCI / Core Isolation) is enabled

HVCI prevents unsigned drivers from loading.

Must be disabled for TitanX to work.

Solution:

a) Windows Security → Device Security

b) Core isolation → Details

c) Memory integrity → Off

d) Restart PC (required!)

If toggle is grayed out:

a) Run Command Prompt as Administrator

b) Execute:

reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity" /v Enabled /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

c) Reboot PC

ℹ️ On Windows 11, this is often enabled by default.

Use "Security Off" button in launcher for quick disable.

7. Secure Boot is enabled

Secure Boot blocks unsigned kernel drivers.

Must be disabled in BIOS.

Solution:

a) Reboot PC and enter BIOS (DEL / F2 during startup)

b) Navigate: Security → Secure Boot

c) Set Secure Boot → Disabled

d) Save & Exit (F10)

If option is grayed out:

• Set OS Type → "Other OS" or disable Secure Boot Keys first

ℹ️ Common BIOS paths by brand:

• ASUS: Boot → Secure Boot → OS Type → Other OS

• MSI: Settings → Security → Secure Boot → Disabled

• Gigabyte: Boot → Secure Boot → Disabled

• ASRock: Security → Secure Boot → Disabled

8. WDFilter is currently running (Windows Defender)

We recommend disabling Defender using dcontrol by Sordum.

Solution:

a) Windows Security → Virus & threat protection

b) Manage settings → Disable:

• Real-time protection

• Tamper Protection

c) Download dcontrol → Click "Disable Defender"

• After spoofing is complete — usage is allowed
