Instructions for Xernel PUBG
Download and Installation
Step 1: Download the Launcher
- Visit: https://xernel.cc/launcher/download
- Enter your license key in the appropriate field
- Wait for license processing
- Automatic download should start within a few seconds
- If download doesn't start automatically, click "Manual Download" button
Step 2: Save the Launcher
- Downloaded file saves to Downloads folder by default
- Recommended: move launcher to a separate folder, e.g., C:\XERNEL\
- To hide product traces, save launcher to USB with RAID/FAT32 file system
System Configuration
Step 1: Disable Antivirus Programs
Disabling Windows Defender
Option 1 (Simple):
- Open Windows Settings (Win + I)
- Go to Update & Security → Windows Security
- Open Manage virus & threat protection
- In Virus & threat protection settings click Manage settings
- Disable the Real-time protection toggle
Disabling Other Antivirus Programs
- Disable Kaspersky, Avast, AVG, Norton and other installed antivirus software
- Ensure they are completely disabled, not just hidden in the system tray
Step 2: Disable System Protections
- Press Win (Run "Start Menu")
- Type cmd
- Right-click on cmd and select Run as administrator
- Copy and paste the following command in full:
reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity" /v Enabled /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f & reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Config" /v VulnerableDriverBlocklistEnable /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f & reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard" /v EnableVirtualizationBasedSecurity /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
- Press Enter and wait for the command to complete
Step 3: Enable Overlay
Make sure you have one of the game overlays installed:
For NVIDIA Graphics Cards:
- NVIDIA GeForce Experience must be installed
- Open NVIDIA GeForce Experience
- Check that Game Overlay is enabled in settings
For AMD Graphics Cards:
- AMD Radeon Software must be installed
- Open AMD Radeon Settings
- Ensure Overlay is enabled
For Intel Graphics or if using Discord:
- Open Discord
- Go to User Settings → Activity
- Find Game Overlay section
- Enable the Game Overlay toggle
- Ensure Enable Legacy Overlay is DISABLED
Step 4: System Restart
After completing all steps, restart your system:
- Press Win + R, type shutdown /r /t 0 and press Enter
- Or use standard shutdown menu
Product Launch
Step 1: License Activation in Launcher
- Run the downloaded launcher with administrator rights
- In the License Activation window, enter your license key
- Click Activate and wait for processing
- After successful activation, you'll reach the Launcher Main Menu
Step 2: Select and Launch Game
- In the main menu, select PUBG
- Click the Launch button
- A window with launch logs will appear — this is normal
- Wait for authorization message
Step 3: Driver Loading
- After authorization, a window will appear asking: "Load driver?"
- First launch: click YES
- Subsequent launches (until restart): click NO
- ⚠️ If you click YES every time, you'll experience problems
- If you get the error "driver load failed -1," it is related to the fact that you have Riot Vanguard, Faceit, or any other antivirus or anti-cheat software on your computer (you need to uninstall them and then restart your computer).
Step 4: Finalization
- Wait for the green logs in the launcher.
- When the launcher closes, go into PUBG and press delete.
- ✅ Product is ready to use!
FAQ
Q: Launcher won't download, what to do?
A: Check:
- Internet connection is active
- Your license key is valid
- Try manual download
- Use a different browser
- Disable VPN
Q: I entered the wrong license key, how to fix it?
A:
- Restart the launcher
- On next attempt, enter the correct key
- If key is lost, contact support
Q: Do I need to disable Defender if I have another antivirus?
A: Yes, disable both. Windows Defender can conflict with the product even with other antivirus present.
Q: What if I don't see Overlay in game?
A: Make sure:
- Overlay is enabled in graphics card settings
- You're using Game Overlay, not legacy version
- You're using the correct overlay for your graphics card
Q: How often should I click YES when loading the driver?
A:
- Only once after each system restart
- All other launches in the session — select NO
Q: What if I accidentally pressed YES multiple times?
A: Just restart and repeat the process. After restart, the situation will normalize.
Q: I closed the logs window, what should I do?
A: Restart the launcher and run it again. This is a simple error, a restart will fix it.
Troubleshooting
Problem: Antivirus blocking launcher
Solutions:
- Completely disable antivirus (not just protection mode)
- Add launcher folder to exclusions
- Restart after disabling
- If problem persists, use dControl.exe option
Problem: "License key expired"
Solutions:
- Check expiration date in your account
- If key is expired, purchase a new one
- If you're sure key is active, contact support
Problem: Driver won't load or error
Solutions:
- Ensure all system protections are disabled
- Run launcher with administrator rights
- Check that you executed the protection disable command
- Restart and try again
- Update video driver (NVIDIA/AMD)
Problem: Game launches but launcher shows error
Solutions:
- Click OK on error window
- Close game and restart
- Ensure PUBG is installed in Steam
- Check disk has enough free space
Problem: Black screen at game startup
Solutions:
- Check Overlay is enabled
- Update video driver
- Disable screen recording programs (OBS, Bandicam)
- Close other overlays except the one you need
- Ensure monitor is connected to graphics card, not motherboard
Problem: Low FPS or frequent lag
Solutions:
- Close unnecessary programs
- Check Task Manager for heavy processes
- Update video driver to latest version
- Check component temperatures (may be overheating)
- Ensure dedicated graphics card is being used
Problem: Launcher window doesn't appear after launch
Solutions:
- Wait a few seconds (first launch may be slow)
- Check Task Manager (launcher process should be active)
- Restart and try again
- If problem persists, reinstall launcher
Problem: "Cannot connect to servers"
Solutions:
- Check internet connection
- Disable VPN
- Ensure PUBG servers are accessible
- Restart
- Check Windows Firewall (add launcher to exceptions)
Problem: Launcher requires re-activation after restart
Solutions:
- This is normal, just enter key again
- Ensure key is entered correctly (without spaces)
- If error repeats, contact support
Problem: PUBG not installed in Steam
Solutions:
- Install PUBG through Steam
- Ensure game is completely downloaded
- Update game to latest version
- Check file integrity (right-click game → Properties → Local files)
